Our Wedding

From playing together as kids at the babysitter’s—at Hunter’s mom’s house—our story really began long before we even realized it. Back then, it was just carefree days, running around and spending time together without any idea of what the future would hold. Years later, we reconnected in early high school, and what started as a familiar friendship quickly turned into something more. From that point on, we became a big part of each other’s lives. We grew up side by side, sharing the same friends, going to events together, and making countless memories along the way. Over the years, we’ve experienced so much together—late nights with friends, trips and adventures, celebrations, and all the little everyday moments in between. Through it all, we’ve built a strong foundation of friendship, trust, and love.Looking back, it feels like everything led us right to where we are today. What started as childhood memories has turned into a lifetime of shared experiences, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue creating new ones together.

Paige and I have been friends for over 10 years, which means she knows all the stories — the crazy days, the questionable decisions, and the wild adventures that probably shouldn’t be repeated. Somehow, she’s stuck by my side through it all. She’s the friend who will hype you up, keep you grounded, and laugh with you no matter what. After a decade of memories, it only feels right that she’s standing beside me on one of the biggest days of my life. I’m so lucky to call her my best friend.

My younger sister Claire and I have grown incredibly close over the years, and she has truly become one of my closest friends. I’m so grateful for the strong bond we share, all the memories we’ve made, and the support and laughter she brings into my life. It means so much to have her standing beside me on such an important and special day.

Kieran, My baby sister, The Queen herself. Watching her grow into the amazing person she is today has been so special, and I’m so grateful for the close bond we share. Having her by my side on my wedding day means the world to me. I will never forget being chased around the house or locked out of the house, the endless trips to the store for a sweet treat and of course her loving personality.

Chloe and I have known each other since we were kids, thanks to her Mom, Margaret- My mother in law being my babysitter growing up. We spent so many days together having playdates, sleepovers, and making childhood memories. It’s pretty special that all these years later our lives have come full circle, and now I get to officially call her my sister as I marry her brother.

Growing up, my cousin Jessica has always been such a big part of my life. Jessica used to babysit me growing up, and over the years our relationship has grown into such a special friendship. She has become one of my best friends, and I’m so grateful for the bond we share. She also gave me one of my favourite titles—Godmother to her beautiful daughter, Ava, who will be our flower girl.

Shae and I have been friends since high school, and we’ve made some of the best memories together—especially our unforgettable time in Nashville. She’s always been someone I can count on for a good talk, lots of laughs, and unwavering support. And while she might be known for running a little late… that’s just our girl Shae.

Emily and I have been inseparable since high school W.E.A.T class, and somehow we’ve stuck together ever since. From endless sleepovers to nights out and so so many laughs, she’s been by my side through it all.Getting engaged on the same day as one of my best friends felt like it was meant to be. I'm so grateful to have her standing by my side as we celebrate such a special chapter together.

I met Jillian a few years ago when she started dating one of Hunter’s good friends, Connor, and we connected instantly. With so many shared interests and the same ridiculous sense of humour, it didn’t take long for us to become close. I’m so glad she’s become such an important part of my life and a part of our big day.

Noah and I have been best friend's since we were young children. We grew up as neighbour's and always spent countless days together. Over time, he also became a close friend of Kellyn's, since they attended high school together and the three of us were always together. He’s been there for it all—often as the ultimate third wheel—and somehow still stuck around. Our friendship has truly stood the test of time, and it means so much to have him by our side on this special day.

Bailey is not only my older brother, but also one of my best friends and someone i have always looked up to. Bailey is kind, considerate, easy going and has made the best role model. Growing up, I wanted to be just like him and follow in his footsteps. Having Bailey by both of our sides for the past 9+ years has made us share such a special connection.

Christian is my (Kellyn's) older brother, and we’ve always shared a close bond. He’s known for his quick comebacks and great sense of humour, always keeping things light and making us laugh. From the very beginning, Hunter fit right in with our family, and their dynamic made everything feel natural and easy. It means so much to have my brother apart of our special day.

Jake is another Westwood neighbour and a longtime friend of Mine. We've built a strong bond over snowmobiling, side-by-sides, and spending time outside—usually working on something random. Many late nights, empty bottles and love of sports have been shared between the two of us. Our  friendship is easygoing and full of good times, with many more memories and good times to come.

Ryan and I have shared years of friendship filled with laughter, adventures, and more than a few memorable stories. Through all the good times and unforgettable moments, he's been a great friend, and I'm grateful to have him standing by my side on this special day.

Connor is known for his love of spiced rum, a good playlist, and stopping by for “just one” beer—which rarely ever means one. He brings great energy, good music, and lots of laughs wherever he goes. Im so  lucky to have such a longtime, fun and loyal friend standing by my side on this special day.

JP and I have a bond that  has grown quite strong over time that we have become such good friends. With Paige and Kellyn being longtime friends, it naturally brought JP and I closer over the years, and our bond has continued to grow ever since. We spend a lot of time as couples—whether it’s late nights in the garage, playing marbles at the counter, early morning fishing trips, or working together on the same crew. JP has become such a big part of our lives, and we can't wait to continue making memories together. 

JP Kunkel

Josh is a Mildmay boy who now calls Walkerton home. He’s a great guy who’s always up for a good time, and our friendship  has only grown stronger over the years—especially since being a part of their wedding in the summer of 2024. Josh and I share the same easy going, laid-back, hardworking personality and It means a lot to have him standing by our side on our wedding day.

Ava is the beautiful daughter of bridesmaid Jess Frook and Brody Clark, and she gave me one of my most cherished titles—Godmother. From sleepovers and adventures to snack time, pillow fights with Hunter, and proudly calling him her “boyfriend,” Ava brings endless joy, laughter, and love into our lives. We’ve shared so many special memories together, and I can’t imagine celebrating our wedding day without her by our side.

Briar is our sweet niece, Daughter of Bailey & Hayley Zettler. Known for her adorable red hair that perfectly matches Uncle Hunter. We are so honoured to be called Aunt and Uncle by such a special little girl. She brings so much joy and love to our lives, and we couldn’t imagine our day without her by our side.

The Heaney boys have always been like my little brothers, and I’ve been lucky to share such a close bond with all four of them. Growing up together came with lots of laughs, chaos, and probably a few stories that are best left untold. Hunter’s been around long enough to watch them grow up too, so he fully knows what he’s dealing with. Finn, the youngest of 4 boys, was only 4 years old when Hunter entered our big, crazy family- he is now turning 15.  We wouldn’t have it any other way and are so glad they’re part of our day.

Aunt Kelly Ann has always been like a second mom to me. She’s known for her love of shopping and spending (I wonder where I get it from), her incredible sense of humour, and her constant support. I’ve looked up to her for as long as I can remember—especially when it came to my career path. It means so much to have her not only by my side, but also officiating such a special moment in our lives.

Steve and Donna have always been constant supporters in our lives. Having known Hunter from a young age makes this moment feel even more special. They’ve stood by me through all of my ideas—both the good and the questionable—with nothing but support and love. Their 27 years of marriage is something I truly admire and respect. Wedding planning wouldn’t have been the same without my mom’s organization and my dad’s ability to always care and support, even without needing all the details. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done and continue to do for us.

Joe and his longtime partner Tammy are the best at giving advice and always make our time together fun. We always enjoy our time with them and there's never a dull moment when we stop in—whether it’s for a round of darts, a dip in the pool, a snowmobile ride, a quick visit, or one of the many family holidays they’ve hosted (usually with a few shooters involved). We love spending time with them and are so grateful for their constant support. Joe and Tammy play such an important role in our lives and we couldn't imagine our day without them.

Margaret and her longtime partner Pat have been such an important part of our lives, for as long as I can remember. From Margaret being my babysitter growing up to the many years spent together before Hunter bought and moved into our first home, they’ve helped create so many great memories. Margaret’s home was always the place to be—the “cool house” where friends gathered, nights were spent in the basement at the bar, always amazing food and lots of laughter. They’ve always been up for the fun, the silly christmas games, and have never stopped checking in on us. We’re so grateful for their love and everything they’ve shared with us.
